I'm reading this for two reasons...
Firstly, novellas are literally the only way I'm going to reach my reading goal this year.
Second, the Brothers Gwynne recommended it. I believe the words 'dark', 'scary', and 'based on a real life haunted castle' may have been used. I'm paraphrasing but you get the gist.
