DNF - Book 1 ended on a cliffhanger so I felt compelled to buy book 2 but I’m struggling. The storyline is quite hard hitting and the H is keeping so many secrets from the h, supposedly for her own good, but it feels quite unfair to me. The H is also not JP enough, the h made a joke about going on a date and the H didn’t even bat an eyelid 🙄
