hm. i’m not at the point where i want to dnf yet, but i’m getting frustrated AND bored so i think i’ll set this aside for now.
the writing is fine and the dialogue is mostly quite good, but the book has such a weird narrative structure? like, things just keep happening for no apparent reason and with no consequences? why should i care what happens when the characters don’t seem to?

i haven't even finished the second chapter and we're on our third interrupted kiss... okay.
i'm liking this so far - tho not loving it yet( - but the writing is frustrating.
