One of the best books I’ve read about Toronto history and Canadian history. So many of these events I’ve studied before but I’ve never really been able to understand them because I couldn’t envision them. The author has an amazing writing style that gives a lot of the social history, so it’s easy to imagine what happened. Lots of great Indigenous and Black history!
