Toc! Such a good scene.

The master plot is peaking out of the haze... threads are being tied together. I am starting to see how Erikson makes a 3 million word (10 book) series connect. Hooked.

The history of the bridgeburners and how Quick Ben came into the group was masterfully told!

Battle with Itkovian and the K'chain Che Malle was outstanding. One of the most vivid fight scenes I've read.

Already liking it more than DG, especially given the characterization and multiple threads/POVs.
