It's been taking me too long to read it. I feel that it lacks that magic the previous books had, but I will finish it hoping it will be worth it. I will of course let you know!

I like this specific the most out of all her other series because it is high fantasy set in an alternate universe.

Hi there! So, I have finally finished the book and the fact that it took me so long to read it says a lot. It was an OK book, but it was meh compared to the previous 2. It feels like only the last pages were interesting and to be honest for anyone who didn't read it, well, if you just read the last 10% of the book you get pretty much the whole plot of the book. I am quite over the sex scenes and the trio (Poppy, Casteel, Kieran) has lost its dynamic. I am not giving up on the series, though, and I really hope the last book will make up for this.

OK GOOD! I feel less guilty now that I couldn't get into it
cause I was obsessed with the first 2.
For real I was SO surprised it was a hard read.. couldn't even finish it.
Suddenly the characters were MEH the plot was MEH!
I gave up with a heavy heart. :(
I know exactly how you feel. Hope the last one won't be a disaster. I'd like to finish the series just for closure.
