Finished another chapter today...this book is not one I would recommend based on what I have read so far. I enjoy reading and teach grammar to my students, but this text is putting me to sleep; in fact, I dread picking up this book again tomorrow. There are two authors, yet there is no voice or enthusiasm for the topic. If it were not required reading for a class, I would move on now. Hopefully, it will improve...
