There's an unusual juxtaposition of sing-songy rhymes and dance parties with death sand suicide and concentration camps that makes this collection fresh and unpredictable. Kind of like Sylvia Plath, if she were a man living now. Also, mad props to the clean cover art; it's like I'm reading Poetry magazine.

I'm intrigued by the form play, the pantoums and almost-villanelle, the rhyme...but really, just how much Randall Mann goes for it. I wasn't in love with the last couple of poems, but overall, this is a solid collection.
