Overall a good book. I wish there was a consensus on the "right" GF flour blend. Each chef has his/her blend that is "best." There are good baking basics & GF baking basics. Well worth the purchase.

I love the "Dummies" books, except the title. This book is no exception. Being recently diagnised celiac, I've found sticking to fiet easier than I had expected. However, buying all the "special foods" quick is prohibatively expensive. i have to learn how to bake again. A few fallen cakes and some bread that tasted distinctly of garbanzos told me this won't be a cakewalk.
