I'm not sure I'll end up with a wholly positive view of this book. After beginning with a broad and deep presentation of the context of the founding if the order as well as the Temple of its name, the knights themselves are an afterthought in the narrative. The book seems more interested in the clerics and royalty of Europe with brief sections showing how the Templars were at times tenuously connected or involved.
