there's much to like here, but i'm trying so hard to ignore the inappropriate physicality, it is ruining any enjoyment i could get from this book. is the point that these folks are so starved of affection that they give and seek it at any opportunity? now i really want to know why. because historically *and* psychologically it's naive and a bit nuts.
