This is my 2nd Bryson book. I'm not enjoying it as much as his book on Australia. Sometimes I think the things he says are rather unkind. He has lived there so he may be entitled to say those things. Not that I've lived in Britain, but I've been there a number of times and I'm just not finding the same humour I was expecting. I hope it improved as I go!
