How is this? I was considering starting reading it the other day, but got derailed by fanficlets

It's good but it is really, really long and I just can't see it ending with a HEA. It looks like it's another what-do-yo-mean-it's-not-a-fucking-romance-?!? like the first 3 Daron books. I like Reed, but he's not my long lost brother like Daron is. And Shane seems even more fucked up than Ziggy. Also more straight. There is a lot of tension, but because it is so long (I am halfway and there's still 7 hours to go in this) that thread of tension gets really thin around 40%, especially because there isn't much else happening than tourbus-concert-meeting/fucking fans-tourbus-occasional hotel-repeat.
A lot of shit went down in the last few chapters though, so maybe the second half is different.
I don't think I can deal with that at the moment. My stomach can't take less than a HEA with how things are with Daron atm. My heart still aches from the whole Ziggy shaped hole thing. (and I can't help but comparing these two stories)Not that the book I'm currently reading is a joy either though, a collection of English countryside cunts in all shapes and sizes making life miserable in multiple and every way possible.
You can't help but compare the two, the settings are too similar. Save this for when Daron and Ziggy are safe and snuggling on the couch watching reality tv. If I change my mind about you having to read it I will let you know.
