i'm not saying i hate this work, because it would've been untrue, but by this point hugo digressed so much from narrative, i barely remember what the narrative was about before he started. also, takes me 30-35 minutes to read 1%. hm.

i actually find this so interesting, i have trouble putting the book down at night. the only reason i'm at 7% is because it's a big book.
