While beginning this novel, I was intrigued to see the image of The Ambassadors by Hans Holbein. After the protagonist's lecture on the painting, I went to the National Gallery's YouTube lectures on the painting. Not sure if I will like the book but certainly did like this little side trip a at the beginning
