I hate when authors don’t do enough research before writing characters from other countries! How can Daraja be Yoruba when her last name is NWACHUKU??? Her sister’s name is chinara?? “Chi” means God in Igbo so how is it a Yoruba name?? Don’t get me started on the random Yoruba phrases!

Also, no Nigerian eats pounded yam with Jollof rice like wth??? Pounded yam is eaten with any type of soup and jollof rice is eaten with plantain or salad or moi moi, never with pounded yam! How can this author write such nonsense???
