I HATE when authors write like that. So many of them do, too (or it could be a YA thing? I tend to read a lot of YA). I've been wondering if I need to read more outside of Young Adult. The Adult books I've read haven't been so heavily romance-focused or all about the ~~SKIN TINGLES~~, but I'm not sure if I just got lucky.

The Adult bo..."right??? but I've also read some erotica (well, kinda??) and it uses the same technique and it's all about the "glances" and the "our fingers brushed and my whole body tingled" and I'm here like . . . hun, that's called a static shock?? xD
