I read 48 minutes of The Notebook and 45 minutes of The Last Song on 1/27, which equals 93 mins.
At the very end of the book, Noah sneaks into Allie's room while she is sleeping and he kisses her. She soon kisses back and realizes that it's Noah, which is a miracle because the doctors said her memory wouldn't come back.
I loved this happy ending because they are finally together.

There was just a flashback when Noah and Allie figured out when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. It described their reactions and how tragic it was. Allie frequently apologized to Noah because she knew she would soon forget him.
I think the author added this to the book because it reminds the reader that their love still lasted through their struggle of Allie's disease.

Lon, Allie's fiance, is curious as in what she is doing in New Bern. He thinks Allie met up with her first love, Noah. Now, Lon has called her multiple times, and Allie has not answered because she is with Noah.
I hope Allie and Noah get together because I just know that she doesn't love Lon as much as she loves Noah. I predict that she will leave Lon to be with Noah.
