It’s painful, I don’t think I’ve ever cried as much with a book. I’m sorry. Still… it’s one of my favorite books
I did cry - but then I love books that move you. My first novel had that effect and I did want readers to feel the pain, rather than gloss over it. So, I understand the author of A Little Life. Compelling and sad.
