If there existed a treasure map to understanding who I am as a person, the X would be page 88 of this book. It was figurative, but now there is a blue post-it tab sticking out of the book with a sharpied in X on it.

Re-reading this book is like a warm hug. This book will always represent the most authentic introspective look at my own youthful queer experience. Dante and Ari are written as the most perfect fitting counter parts: where their lived experiences and view points in life are so different yet they stick to each other immediately.

I am in love with this book. It’s so pure.
