This is hard to argue against now, with the DOW over 34,000, but 11 years ago when it was written, most people thought it was insane. I am reading this because I think it's important to me, to maybe get some preparation in for what could come next. The authors father made a similar 500% prediction back in the 70's, so it would be crazy of me not to at least read it to see what it says.
