Picked this up for the “hate read” edition of book club next month. I think I picked a doozy. it starts off with literally comparing a wife to an inanimate object to be acted upon by her husband.
Oh, and it includes a passage by the wife of the author who talks about how she asked him to make her more of a priority in his life, and he responded with a lecture on beings a proverbs 31 woman.
This should be fun!

What I’ve learned so far:
Have a controlling, abusive husband? Don’t worry! All you need to do is pray to Jesus and basically do everything your husband tells you to do as a display of subservience. Then, he’ll fall back in love with you.
Also, this gem of a prayer recommendation:
“Kneel down before your mate and pray over their feet crying out for God’s mercy & guidance.”
