Made it thru the first section. Learned a lot including the differences between Tibetian (which I practice) and Zen Buddhism. Lots of history in this section.

Well I made it trhu the first section and I learned a lot. Learning the differences between Tibetian (which I practice) and Zen was very interesting. Lots of good history in this book and Im not really into history.

This book is very auto biographical which I love. It starts off as a twenty year old hippie traveling Europe/Asia. The second chapter gets into his introduction to Buddhism. It's VERY interesting learning the detailed steps it takes to become a full on Tibetian Buddhist Monk. I'm leaarning a lot but have only just begun.
