I seem to be reading this book when its absolutely needed. When God wants me to read it its just the perfect time. I learned a lot from this chapter of James. We can seriously learn a lot from who James was as a person. He was a lot like us as humans at least in this story. James was a doubter but had an issue believing Jesus was the Son of God. Jesus proved Himself and showed He wasn't lying as He came back.

Poor Elizabeth it was like seeing Zechariah's story again. But here we see the other side of the story how she felt when John left the Earth. Mary was very comforting to her. It was sad but she came to a realization that John did what he was meant to do, pave the way for Jesus...

This is one of the hardest books I have ever read as for being in the feels. First the story of Joseph you really feel for him. Now John the Baptist I wanted to jump into the story to help him. It made me a little emotional... God is showing me what us Christians go through and why we do what we do giving Him all the Glory to trust in Him.

As a man of God we need to be more like Joseph and listen to what says without question...he endured so much yes he questioned God but since he knew this was God's will for his life he kept going and trusting God...loved this part it was straight out of the nativity story...

Just like the story of The Nativity...Joseph finally sees Mary has been with no man. Joseph is stronger now he knows the truth...

Currently loving this book the beginning part on Joseph reminds me of the beginning of The Nativity Story. I'm imagining the actors in this part of the story...
