damn okay then

had to take a moment to calm down from my annoyance about the weirdly written smut but I'm back now

until the halfway mark (aka before the sex started) I was LOVING this book . . . and now I'm confused and annoyed how much it's changed

also the use of the word "baby" in this type of genre just really irks me

throughout my recent binge of "romance" books I have come the very prominent conclusion that dirty talk ANNOYS tf outta me

well I am not totally despairing that the magical entrancement of the writing has been lost . . . but it is lost around the two characters I was most intrigued me, dammit

the book: “Oh my…” She starts to moan unintelligibly . . .

my brain:

what in the ding dang heck is this horribly written smut when THE REST OF THE BOOK is almost a literary masterpiece of beautiful writing???

yikes I'm cringing because this is NOT what all that lovely, well-done tension and slow burn led to . . . I refuse to accept this

HOW CAN YOU WRITE YEARNING SO MUCH DIFFERENT AND BETTER THAN THE ACTUAL SEX??? WHY CAN'T IT STAY THE SAME
