In the book Kira Down Under, it's written in first person and Kira is the one narrating. I know this because she talks about her thoughts without quotation marks and uses words like I, me , my, and mine. An example of this in the book is: ¨I ducked under one of the branches to be closer to Bean, running through all possible scenarios of how and where he might fall so I could be prepared."(53) These were her thoughts.

In the book Kira Down Under, the story began when Kira has finished fostering kittens and needs to take them back. Kira explained to her mom about how much she didn't want to let them go. I like the was this book starts because it tells you about Kira's love of animals and more about her personality. It also makes you feel bad for her because she tells us about her old best friend Laila who doesn't like her anymore.

I am reading a book called Kira Down Under. As I read this book I am always curious with questions like why Kira's best friend stopped hanging out with her. Kira explains that one day, Laila stops playing with her and makes friends with her soccer team. Kira has done nothing wrong and she deserves a better friend. But on the bright side, she has just made a new friend who is just like her in Austraila named Alexis.

In the book Kira Down Under, I have noticed that Kira isn't a very social person. Ever since her old best friend Laila stopped hanging with her, she has only spent her time with animals, instead of trying to make new friends. She is about to go to Australia and she couldn't be more excited to see all of the animals there. I am making a prediction that Kira will meet a new friend in Australia who loves animals too.
