I wish the first part of the book was less defensive against Salafism (or that it at least addressed it convincingly instead of just making it seem like it was all bad when in reality it was beneficial in some cases).
But other than that it's pretty interesting so far, I like the concept of embodied knowledge and the importance of teaching the Quran holistically in West Africa.
