The group went to the dragon sanctuary and found the writing on paytons grave. They left and started walking through the mountains until griffins and dragons came to capture them. They fought back for a while until the griffins caught all of them and brought them back to the griffins sanctuary.

Kendra, Warren, Mara, Tanu, Gavin, Dougan, and Seth all set off on a trip to the dragon sanctuary Wyrmroost to retrive a key there before the Society of The Evening star tries to get it. They just uncovered Pattons grave which said the key is in a iron egg in the middle of the sanctuary. They only have a few days to retrieve the key before they have to leave the sanctuary for good.

Seth just stole the Soul of Grunhold (unicorn horn) from Grunhold and its very powerful so it can be used for many purposes. Kendra and a few other dragon tamers are going to a dragon sanctuary to get something.

Kendra got saved from Torina and she is now back at Fablehaven. Stan, Seth, Kendra, ect are all in The Hall of The Dread looking for a message and they just found it and this could possibly help them capture Torina.

Kendra just got help to escape Torinas house from Stan and his friends. She recieved a knapsack with a stingbulb inside and Kendra made a duplicate of herself and she took Cody with her and the stingbulb threw the knapsack outside with Kendra and Cody inside. Kendra got out, grabbed the knapsack and walked away and just got picked up by one of Stan's detectives.

I was suprised when these traitors took Kendra's and Rex's DNA to immitate being them so they could gather information to potentially destroy Fablehaven. Kendra poked a plant which is acually a creature that can pretend to be you for 4 days. Other accomplises kidnapped Kendra to keep her until the mission is done. At home the fake Kendra was sending a letter with important information so Warren had to kill her.

The main character of the book is Kendra because the narrator focuses on Kendra most of the time and something big just happend to her that could change the whole plot of the story.
