Currently in my book the main character (Isabel) finds the motivation to escape from the potato cupboard (where madam locked her) and now Isabel is on the search to find Ruth in charleston. Ruth is the only family that Isabel has left, her mother and father both died because of the fever, her sister means everything to Isabel and nothing will stop her from reaching her. Even if that means death to Isabel.
