My main character, June is one of the most intelligent people in the country. This quality can be seen when she was able to get a perfect score on the test in which only two other people has ever done this in the entire countries history .However June is also a little overconfident. This quality can be seen when she failed a mission because she thought she had thought of every outcome.

"Hey Day," I said
"Hello," he replied
Why do you go against your own country?" I said quickly
"I choose to do this because my country is unfair and evil, it purposely releases plagues to kill off poor sectors and leaves rich alive because they are able to afford the medication" He explained
"That's crazy," I said

The dialogue in my story contributes to the plot of the story because it allows the reader to be able to learn about other characters in the story because it is a first person perspective story. In the text it says "Pascoa is the undisputed leader of the runners".

The text structure used in Prodigy is dialogue. The purpose of this text structure is to help progress the story and reveal secrets about various characters in the book. "I knelt over Metias and watched him die, my hand was on that knife"

A conflict that is occurring in my book is that the U.S was split and divided into two powerful groups that each despise each other, so they are at constant war at all times. The thing that caused this was that when the ice in Antarctica started to melt and flood the east side of the U.S(Colonies), citizens fled to the west side (Republic) of the U.S but the Republic closed it's borders so the colonies declared war.

My main character Day, feels proud about themselves, their reason why they feel themselves is because he was was able to complete his first mission as part of the patriots. (A rebel group)

The central idea of my book Prodigy is about my main character's journey to rescue his younger brother from the republic.

My main character has developed/changed through out the story because he was very boastful but now he is humble.

The female character in my book is written as strong because she is one of the smartest character's in my book, strong and knows many survival skills. Their role is one of the main characters because my book has two equally important main characters, one boy, one girl that are vital to the story line. The author is female which leads to believe that they are equal because of the two main characters are equal to me.

As a side character, I would be basically be the same because the dystopian world that my book takes place in is very similar to our world except more advanced technology. I think that I would to be popular in this book because um, it would be cool.
