In this chapter we are introduced to and new character named Delilah and the information given is shown that she is a reporter, going back to Rufus and Mateo, Rufus had to take Mateo from the hospital cause his visitation was over. And they do one last good deed by helping out a man who was picking through trash by giving him money. And the man was grateful they acknowledged him and didn’t walk away and ignore him.

In this chapter Mateo is saying his final goodbyes to his father and almost isn’t let in because of the visiting hours but luckily Rufus told the nurse that it was almost time for Mateo so he let him in one last time.

It is briefly said that the lady made some mixed up calls and may have messed up. Meanwhile mateo and Rufus meet up and Mateo ventures out into the world.

Rufus and Mateo finally meet through the last friend app and are going to mee up in person and we get introduced to a new character Andrea Donahue

Going back to matteos pov he thinks back in the places he could have traveled and all the books he could have finished reading or finding out the endings to them.

Rufus says his final goodbyes to everyone and the cops show up to his pre planned funeral because of the one guy he beat up who attended his funeral by mutuals so he had to leave quickly so he could spend his last hours freely.

Mateo comes to the conclusion he doesn't want to spend his last day alone so he downloads an app that gives him a friend to spend his last day with but he potrays his profile as somone hes always wanted to be (outgoing) because no one would ever know.

Rufus is being descriptive of the things he is seeing for one last time and reflecting back on old memories.

The guys are talking to themselves wondering how they are gonna spend they’re last hours and with whom. The both individually talk to themselves about their relationships
