Though my least favorite in the book so far, 'Puss-in-Boots' is a strangely endearing and comical story! It was a nice break from the bleak, Gothic dread of the previous stories, and it had some lines that had me smiling a bit!

'The Courtship of Mr. Lyon' was a sweet, traditional, and gentle retelling of Beauty and the Beast. It provided nothing special, but I found how much it sticks with the original fairytale to be endearing.
