I just love Noel Streatfeild and her family. Though this isn’t amazingly written, it is still very engaging and a fascinating look into post WWI England. I love Isobel and Vicky’s relationship and their new little sister Theodora. They often reflect over the differences between Theodora’s upbringing and theirs and how fundamentally the Great War changed things.
