It's sad but I like Kadin, the hero's soldier buddy, better than him. It's the old "I won't make the same mistake again so I'll continue to believe she's a traitor until I have proof positive" crap!

I always get so bothered when I can't figure out what exactly drives me nuts about someone's writing.

It makes it so boring! It's like watching a tennis match. Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth. *no offense to any lovers of tennis* =)
ETA: If something doesn't stand out about this one that overcomes the circular conversations, as you call them, willa, I'm going to have to quit reading them. Waste. of. time.
