I love Dawn of the Dead, but this book isn’t very well written; the word choice, sentence structure, and just…overall lack of complexity…it feels very juvenile. Also, I almost wonder if it was based on the original screenplay — it follows events of the film almost exactly in the broad strokes, but then there are small changes that stick out. If it wasn’t such a quick read, I dunno if I’d keep going.
