I am listening to the audiobook. It was mistake I regret. Slappy sounds like a clown which is nothing like my childhood. I feel like they sapped the horror out of it and it won't scare a child. I feel disappointed with this. But I'm gonna listen to it and try to ignore the voice I do not like. Sorry I just want to warn anyone who wants to listen to this instead read the book.
