I'm really having a hard time rooting for the protagonist. I want to like this story, but Josie is becoming more and more unlikable. You can have a "strong female lead" without her being a neurotic, micromanaging jerk to everyone. Breaking rules and convincing (forcing) others to do the same so she gets what she wants. I just cannot connect with this character at all.

The main character, Detective Josie Quinn, is extremely unlikable. Very condescending to everyone else and just a bitch. I hope this gets better because I like the idea of the story.
