In the Long Way Home, Charlie is on the run to clear his name and prove that he isn't a murderer. This represents a journey of rebirth and new starts which match up with the book. He was also running through a forest in the start of the book which was a scary place and represented Charlie's hard journey home.

The POV in The Long Way Home is 1st person. An example of this is when Charlie says, "By the time I reached the door, I was so nervous I could hardly breathe." I know this because the sentence has I in it, which is referring to himself.

The Long Way Home by Andrew Klavan starts with Charlie running away from the cops to the safety of the abandoned mansion. I like the way this book begins because you are wondering what is happening in the first part. I also like how the book started with some action instead of waiting for it with a long introduction.

In the book, The Long Way Home by Andrew Klavan I am wondering if Charlie will ever get his memories back from the past year. I'm also curious about the terrorists in the story and how Charlie became one of them.

In the beginning of this book I know that Charlie is very hardworking. I know this because the text talks about how he'd been running for hours and wouldn't stop until he was safe. I also know that Charlie is loving because the author wrote about how sad and confused he was when he is taken away from them.
