The symbolic archetype that I found in my book is light and dark. The light that I found in my book is the forest cupboard because it is where he felt save, it was like his save haven. the dark is the dark cupboard be cause he always felt cold and dark when he opened that cupboard.

The point of view in 100 Cupboards is 3rd person limited because we can see the thoughts and feelings of at least one person. I know this because the author only used he, she, we, they, and so on. I also know this because the author only uses the thoughts of a few characters throughout the book. When the author said, "Henrietta considered this option." We are being told the character's thoughts.

"He sat up. A piece of plaster rolled down his forehead, bounced on the tip of his nose, and landed on his chest. Above him, two small knobs protruded from the plaster of his wall." This reveals to me that he will start finding cupboards on bis wall because of the knobs.

I wonder how all the 100 cupboards on Henry's wall lead to different times and places, and even planets. I also wonder why Henry wants to explore all the cupboards because I bet that half of them lead to bad places. I am also curious about how many of the cupboards are bad, and which one.

The indirect characterization that I found for Henry York is that he is curious and a problem solver. When Henry hears a noise in his bedroom wall he tries to solve the problem by first leaving his room for a bit, then curiosity takes over him and he starts chipping away the plaster off the wall and finds 99 cupboards that all lead to different times and places in the world.
