Thankfuly after a while the ropes were fixed, but now Jon has completly asended and is heading down. Theres always some sort of problem. First a storm is brewing, second his oxygen is low and third he has to wait a while while a large group that is heading towards the summit passes him. What is goingto happen, is the storm going to hit before they can decend and will his oxygen last?

That is not good. The ropes on the Lhotes face have not been replaaced so they can't climb and their is a bad storm.. Also all three groups at base camp are fighting with each other over who will go and reaplace them. I wonder when the storm will let up and is the fighting beetween the groups going to become dangeruse.

I had always thought that the only people climing the mountain but now Jon is saying that some people who had very little experience and were just climping for publicity are also climbing to the summit of everest. I wonder why they would even let climbers like that climb past basecamp?

This sounds interesting. Why is he descending down while there is a storm on the way? Does he know the storm is coming?

Do you think he will make it or is there just not enough time and oxygen
He dosen´t know the storm is coming and he ¨thinks¨ he has enough oxygen to get to the south summit witch has more oxygen tanks.
What do you think is going to happen to him and how is he going to get enough oxygen to survive the storm
This book sounds intense. Do you think he knows where he is going? How do you think you'd feel if you were in the situation?
