I think that steve jobs really did think different. one of the chapters said that he saw a big difference in a swing and a miss and poor performance, which I think is very much true. Steve seems to put as much effort as he can into most of his products so if something comes out poorly, he doens't have to be upset about it because he tried, and i think thats a good way of thinking about htings.

I think its so weird that jobs was literally told he had cancer and he didn't want to do anything about it at first. it was only when he was about to die that he agreed to get the surgury, and even then he lied about his condition to people outside his family.

Something that i keep noticing about jobs as i read is that no matter what he always finds a way to manipulate or change the rules so that he can do what he pleases. I feel like while that is why he has been so succesful him being such a jerk to everyone is going to mess something up when he goes to do something.

As I read this I can't help but wonder what is going through this guy's mind as he is meeting with other people to considering buying the company or product. He doesn't shower or eat healthy or really even try to take care of himself like a normal perosn and walks in expecting to win them over. Its really confusing to me but in Jobs mind, it makes sense beacuse thats just his personality and the kind of person he is.

The way that Jobs treated his parents when they paid for his college tuition seemed really cruel. he didn't really give them a proper goodbye and they had done so much for him. The book describes him as a rather cold, mean perosn but I do think that he has a heart, he said he regretted ignoring his parents. I think that he just uses his feelings selectively.

I feel like something that might have drove steve jobs was the way his father treated him. When he would act out in class his father would stand up for him, claiming that it was the other persons fault for being bored in class, which I think is true. I feel school doesn;t do a good job of helping people who think and learn differently than other people.
