Bookchin again makes the connection and argument that since in nature has no forced, coerced hierarchy, then that means that human society shouldn't either. And that is basically the update because I'm still n the same chapter and the subject matter hasn't changed much

Bookchin is currently talking about the human race's connection to the environment and how our chauvinistic view of how we must "tame the earth" has been an ecological disaster for the world and also human society. Bookchin connects this thinking to how we've created unjust hierarchy and thus keep people down through these ideas. He says that the solution is his ideas of social ecology.
