As a fan of Beau's videos, much of the content is familiar territory so far, but the way he talks about things is not.
Of course, the whole book has his very distinct style of meandering sentences that seem to bounce from silly to profound.

Picking this back up after a long hiatus. I love Beau, but having been a fan of his videos and having watched them each multiple times, a lot of this is rehashing what I know, so it's a struggle.

This book is becoming tougher to get through. The last few chapters have basically been mile marking a few of Beau's adventures - page after page talking about this leg then the next leg then the next. It's fine, it's entertaining, but I keep hoping to get some interesting tangents.
Some of this is made tougher by knowing his films fairly well.

Pandemic reading is slow these days. But I'm still loving this book.
One thing I struggle with is, having been a fan of Beau's and having watched his videos, a lot of this is rehashing his videos. Of course, he gives us a lot deeper insight into them, but I find myself yearning for something new I haven't seen yet, ya know?
