Yea. Now that I see it, I've often said that, but I know writers who disagree
It would be interesting to hear their viewpoint. I know it's judgmental of me, but I can't help feeling that it's pretentious to feel that unclear, ambiguous sentences are somehow superior to lucid ones. Can't writing be both aesthetic and clear?
