This book has been rough going for me. So much so that it got lost under a pile on my desk for a year or more. While this doesn't say much about my housekeeping skills (I'm cleaning the study now, so don't get your hair in a dander), it does say how easy it was to forget about this book. Now that I've read some readers' reviews, I realize I may not have bought the best Vowell.
