My opinion of Kingsolver, already high through reading her fiction, has soared with this book. This is one of those books to snap up and force on friends - "You MUST read this!!!"

I love the way that Barbara Kingsolver shows everything is linked. A real treasure house of knowledge and wisdom. And, Bookczuk, every time she goes to the Farmers' Markt, I'm back in Marion Square, where the October veggies are piled high in golden mounds.
