Liked the setup of "The Dragon's Choice", likely because I've always enjoyed alt-world fantasy even more than urban fantasy. Still, I miss the build-up of romance. Clearly I am not designed to deal with insta-love.

"Never get between a Dragon and his Treasure" was my kind of angst! I am a sucker for conflict, and this started in a very attention grabbing way - our POV character hiding from the dragon, instead of fawning over him, hints of an apocalypse, and a mystery heist! Also, the mind control being shown as a terrible, abusive thing was *chef's kiss*

"The Neighbors Might Talk" was a fun read, though I keep realizing more and more that 1) men who're described mostly in terms of their muscles don't do it for me, and 2) I am crap at getting into the "fated to be, overwhelmed by attraction"-head space of the characters. I'll keep blaming my aromanticism for that.

"Heart of Stone" was interesting in its own way, but I'm terrible at focusing on the romance when it's got elements of "love at first sight" (it comes with being aromantic) and hints of world building I'm not privy to. I know, I know, I'm silly for going "yes yes, you're making out, fine, BUT HOW DO SUPERNATURAL SOCIETY WORK???" - that's just how I work XD
