I knew it! Emma loved Mr. Knightley all along, and Mr. Knightley loved her. The fact that Frank and Jane were engaged was surprising, though. He was really a flirt. And poor Harriet! All the men that she has thought she loved and had a chance with really loved Emma. Emma has been way too pompous, but now at least she is feeling the mortification she deserves, especially for giving Harriet so much self-consequence.

I think Emma will fall in love with Mr. Knightley. Honestly, I think she might have been jealous that Harriet got to dance with him instead of her! Also, I see how Mrs. Elton is really vulgar. She thinks that she is superior to everyone, so it's her way or the highway. It is really quite annoying.

The Knightleys always seem to be right:
1) Mr. Elton would never marry Harriet (Mr. Knightley)
2) Mr. Elton liked Emma (Mr. John Knightley)
3) Frank Churchilll is just a silly fop (Mr. Knightley)
Hopefully Emma comes to see how righteous and sensible the Knightleys, especially Mr. Khightley) are. She just can't stand being in the wrong. She needs to give up matchmaking though.

I am honestly glad that Mr. Elton married someone else, so know Emma sees that she isn't always right and her conceit is deflated. I hope Harriet gets back with Mr. Martin. She was stupid to listen to Emma! Miss Bates' endless talking is kind of getting on my nerves.

Now I agree with Mr. Knightley. Mr. Churchill does seem kind of like a silly, portentous young man. I really want to find out more about Jane Fairfax and Mr. Dixon. Honestly, I most want to see which person Emma eventually falls in love with because she seems to have very high standards.

I think Mr. Knightley is right and Mr. Churchill just doesn't want to see his family. Speaking of this, I bet Emma will fall in love with Mr. Churchill, but he will like Jane Fairfax instead. Or, Emma will fall in love with Mr. Knightley at the end of all this. And I did think that Mr. Elton would marry one of the girls that he was seeing in London.

I was right. Mr. Elton actually thinks he's in love with Emma! This is hilarious. She is finally seeing that everything won't go her way, and she isn't always right. Imagine how Harriet will feel. Ha! I am also really enjoying the family scene because I can relate. There are some topics you want to avoid and family can be divisive and inharmonious sometimes. Mr. John Knightley makes me laugh.

Ugh I'm still so frustrated with Emma! She is so conceited. She always forces Harriet to do and think how she thinks. But then again, Harriet is way too soft-spoken.. I also can't tell whether Mr. Elton likes Harriet or not.. I kind of want Emma to be wrong about it. I can't wait until Emma falls in love with someone and sees that she has to compromise and isn't always right. She can be really annoying right now.

I agree with Mr. Knightley. Emma and Harriet’s acquaintance doesn’t do any good. Harriet thinks Emma always knows best and never stands up for herself so Emma’s ego is further inflated (and she was already spoiled). Meanwhile, Emma is inducing Harriet to think she is too good for the people she used to hang around even though they are actually her equals in social status. This conceit will be destructive.
