i agree with quinn when he is saying silence is another kind of violence. because it is, when you dont want to talk about something it means you know you are in the wrong and dont want to confront the subject or topic because you dont want to hear the words you are a racist. so i agree that and even if your family is against you this is a bigger movement than you are this movement will change the world for the better

in the part when rashads dad is telling rashad that he shot an unarmed black kid. why do you think that this story was not brought up by the police and had started a rally like rashads did?

when paul galluzzo was telling quinn about what happened he clearly lied. because quinn knows he lied because he was there. but paul doesnt know this. when rashad goes to court i have a feeling that quinn is going to be a surprise witness and paul will feel betrayed.

quinn says he isnt racist because he doesnt make fun of race. but his friend says he is racist because he cant see the problem, and only thinks its a one time thing. and i cant relate to that because i dont see race because anyone is capable of doing anything and everything. and not many people can believe that but its true everyone is capable of doing whatever they want, not just one ethnicity doing something.

so now rashad has to deal a little bit with school drama and life. and i get that people at his school want to come visit him and he isnt ready for more visits. but i feel like he should have more visitors. one so he can feel better and he knows more people care about him. and two the public will know he isnt a bad kid and the cop made a mistake and unreasonably beat and arrested rashad.

i noticed that Quinn which is the other main character. gets really nervous and scared when something is about her. like in the pages i read she was scared to know even if she was in a video that wasnt about her. just because she doesnt want to look like a bystander which i get but still when one of your friends is in the hospital worry about them dont worry about yourself.

the reading i did today was a little slower not much happened other than we find out who the cop was that arrested rashad. he seems like a good guy so far but definitely not the safest person to be around

i noticed that rashad's father is starting to see rashad's point of view on the cops and not all the time cops pull over or stop the right person. and sometimes there are racist cops in the world.

rashad has to have his pastor come in and visit him in the hospital. and he doesnt want to hear that god was there when he was getting beat. and i agree with him i dont really feel like god is always there for you. and its sad to think about but it is what it is. god cant be everywhere i feel like.
