This was my first time in awhile reading this book, but I liked getting back into it. Today I basically just went back and refreshed my memory on characters and what was going on. Overall, I remembered most of what was happening but it was good to have that refresh. I'm starting to think that Biz's friends will hopefully warm up to her again soon after their fight, and that they will help her start to get on track.

In my reading today Biz introduced another memory that she has of her dad. It describes the time he brought home their dog when she was really little, her dad accidentally dropped the dog and hurt it and it was the first time Biz saw her dad really upset. I feel like the first time anyone sees their parents upset is such a surreal experience to look back on when you're a teenager because you finally understand it.

Today I started moving forward in this book again. Biz has finally met a friend, an 80 year old woman who takes time out of her day to listen to Biz and help her feel safe. I feel like this is really good for Biz and it will definitely help her start to get better now that she has someone who she feels safe sharing her thoughts with.

I honestly think this book is such a good read. It really shows how everyone has their own struggles that we all may be hiding or showing, and how much of an impact those things can have on ourselves and others without even realizing it. It is a very relatable book because Biz is also in high school just like my peers and I and she is just trying to figure her life out just like the rest of us.

In the book so far I really like the author's writing style, it makes the book very easy to read and understand what is going on. Right now the main character is dealing with a lot of loss in her life and it is really good to see someone put that feeling into words in this book. I really really love reading this so far and it's nice to have a book that helps you find comfort in the way you're feeling.

I haven't read super far into the book yet, but I predict that next to happen in the book will be that Biz, the main character, will fail her test at school. It's hard to predict this early on but that is what I'm assuming will happen.
